I love Marti’s. It’s an Athens classic. I knew Marti and she was a force of love and light for the Athens community. She never met a stranger, and knew exactly what to say to remind you that she loved you and believed in you. Her food makes you feel that way too. The crew that took over her place have held it to her high standards and continue to feed Athens amazing food and love. If you’re visiting, or looking for a great lunch spot, go to Marti’s. You won’t regret it!
Marti's is my favorite lunchtime spot in Athens! I love to pick up my chicken salad, fruit and homemade pita chips and eat them in the local park. My order is always ready with 0 wait and it's delicious and beautiful!
We have been long time Martis lovers from our grad school days at UGA back in the day. We always stop in when we are in the area (aka within a 2 hour drive ) and it continues to be the best and a favorite. The pinto can’t be beat and the pita is always delicious. Top it off with a perfect summer day on the patio with a cold Mint Sweet Tea and you’ve got perfection. We’ve never had a bad meal here and the service is always so friendly and welcoming!
I love Marti’s at Midday. I’ve eaten in and gotten to go orders. The inside is fun eclectic vibe and the outdoor seating is pleasant. I especially love the salad plate with 2 scoops. The egg salad sandwich is my favorite. For a sweet treat you can’t beat the lemon poppyseed cookie.
The meals are delicious. The staff are friendly. Definitely a favorite lunch spot for many.
Met there for a lunch date with a friend. The people who work there were so friendly and nice. While I waited for my friend, they went ahead had gotten me something to drink since she had been delayed. They were very accommodating to any needs we had during our lunch date. And even though it was closing time when we were still there, they didn't rush us out. The food is delicious and priced decent. You get plenty for your money. I highly recommend!
Marti’s is exceptional!!! I’ve dined in, gotten take out, and eaten their regular lunch menu catering as well as the amazing dinner catering. You can ALWAYS expect an amazing meal from Marti’s. I would definitely recommend their catering for any needs! They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner catering menus with multiple options for all types of events and dietary needs. Marti’s is always my first suggestion for a celebration lunch:)
Love love love the entire experience at Marti’s. From the warm, cozy atmosphere to the INCREDIBLE food, it’s an easy “yes” to Marti’s at Midday! I’ll also freely admit to having dreamt about her curry chicken salad (it’s life changing) and pimiento cheese. Dine in, take out, come with a friend — it’s all amazing at Marti’s. Don’t let the parking frustrate you. It’s worth it!
